lyrics
You know me, I am still
Your rock in the water--
Only chipping slightly.
Flood or drought,
Receded doubt.
Don't be fooled by failure
It wont ever matter.
Just say you're always on my side
And everything will melt away.
What was it that made me loose myself in you,
And then made me reconsider?
It rushed past before I had time to even grab it.
I'll try to remember.
Just say you'll always be around
And everything will pass away.

I am pretty sure I love this album because of lines like this:
"Time cast a spell on you and you will forget me
I know I could have loved you, but you would not let me
I will follow you down ’til the sound of my voice still haunts you
You’ll never get away from the sound of the woman that loved you" . Somehow they hit really hard, even though the instrumentation is coercing you to sway back and forth in a positive form. quiet_calm_deceased

Stumbled across this great band because of Martha the band and I just love their sometimes melancholy garage-sound.
Also I like the acoustic songs.
I still remember seeing them live in my hometown when they were touring with Erica Freas and asked them for a setlist to have something to remember the great concert.
It´s hanging on my wall since that day :) Ninehundredninetynine
